Celebrate Ramadan At Madinat Jumeirah

Every evening after sunset, four unique and distinct Ramadan venues will come to life at Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai.


Diners can enjoy a large selection of traditional delicacies, the very best of Arabic cuisine and an assortment of gourmet desserts.


The famous Al Majlis is a spectacular venue showcasing beautiful interiors and the warmth and hospitality of Arabian tradition. Iftar takes place every evening from sunset until 8.40pm and Suhour served a la carte from 9pm – 3am. The venue has the capacity to accommodate up to 1000 guests and comprises a main dining area, four intimate private VIP majlis, each with potential to host up to 30 guests and 16 additional private VIP majlis sections that can host up to 18 guests. Shisha will be served in Al Majlis from 8.45pm onwards.


For the ninth consecutive year, Madinat Jumeirah has partnered with telecom provider du as the main sponsor, with the aim of bringing families together during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Through its continued contribution to creating a warm and inviting environment, du aims to add value to visitors’ Iftar and Suhoor, adding life-to-life.


With support from Nissan and Arabian Automobiles, Madinat Jumeirah will present a Ramadan experience like no other in the impressive Al Majlis – a harmonious blend of traditional Arabic hospitality within a contemporary environment located within The Madinat Arena Conference Centre.


Located in the heart of Jumeirah Al Qasr, Arboretum restaurant will serve Arabic delicacies in a lavish buffet style Iftar with additional live cooking stations every evening from sunset until 8.30pm. Priced at AED 195 per person, Ramadan juices and valet parking are inclusive of this price.


The newest addition to Madinat Jumeirah’s diverse culinary scene, Hanaaya – meaning happiness in Arabic- located in Jumeirah Mina A’Salam brings its Iftar offering every evening from sunset until 8.30pm. Priced at AED 195 per person, Hanaaya offers food lovers a culinary world journey introducing live cooking stations with an appetizing mix of flavours and locally sourced ingredients featured in traditional Arabic dishes.


The beachfront restaurant Khaymat Al Bahar becomes the perfect spot to share a traditional mezze during an Iftar buffet with friends or family. Easily accessible from Jumeirah Al Qasr by buggy or Abra, this traditional Lebanese restaurant will serve Iftar every day of Ramadan from sundown until 8.30pm. Priced at AED 195 per person it features a mouth-watering Iftar buffet with unlimited Ramadan juices and complimentary valet parking. Shisha will be on offer as well at this restaurant in its newly opened terrace with unparalleled beach views.


At all four venues, traditional specialties such as lentil soup, whole lamb ouzi, veal harres, hot and cold mezze, mixed grill, wardat cream, and um ali will be available at a variety of live cooking stations and in expansive buffet displays. At Arboretum, Hanaaya and Khaymat Al Bahar children under four years dine with our compliments, children aged between four and 12, are eligible to enjoy Iftar at 50% reduced priced.


For a family getaway or romantic staycation throughout Ramadan, Madinat Jumeirah has a number of hotel offers for UAE residents across Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. With complimentary breakfast and lunch or dinner at over 50 participating outlets, rates start from AED 850, providing a discounted rate of 15% when booking a minimum of two nights.
