Dubai Ruler says campaign will provide five million books to needy students in Arab world

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday congratulated everyone on the occasion of Ramadan.
Shaikh Mohammad also announced a campaign to provide five million books to needy students in the Arab and Muslim world, as well as those in refugee camps.
The Reading Nation campaign will provide #5MillionBooks for refugee students and students in schools in need around the World.

Shaikh Mohammad said that the move to feed young minds is a step toward ending poverty.

He urged everyone to support the initiative. “We invite businessmen, public and private institutions to join us in shining a beacon of hope from the UAE readingnation.ae,” he said in a post on Twitter.
