Bryan Gee is label boss of legendary Drum & Bass imprint V Recordings, pioneer of London night Movement and recognised as one of the biggest names on the international scene.

Bryan grew up in Cheltenham immersed in sound system culture. Reggae was his first love and in his early teenage years was the Challenger Sound System’s official selector. By the early ’80s Bryan moved to Brixton, London where he met Jumping Jack Frost. They started a regular show on pirate station Quest FM before moving onto their own Brixton based station, Passion. Playing together they made a huge name for themselves and were early pioneers of the acid house sound, introducing it into their radio shows and DJ sets.

Bryan worked at Rhythm King offshoot Outer Rhythm, and was responsible for kick starting the careers of artists like Leftfield and Moby. Soon after, Bryan started his own legendary label – V Recordings. This label has birthed artists such as Roni Size, Krust and Die. Thanks to his passionate effort and endless love for the music, Bryan G is still one of the most recognizable faces on the international DJ circuit and with V Recordings still very much at the forefront of the Drum & Bass scene. Two decades on from those early acid house days, Bryan Gee is still pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass with label signings including L Side, Alibi, Serum, Atrificial Intelligence, Paul T & Edward Oberon, and many more.

*** RAMILSON MAIA (Kaleidoscope) ***

DJ and Producer Ramilson Maia is known for forming the Brazilian Drum & Bass group Kaleidoscope in the early 2000s.

A professor of Electronic Music Production in Brazil, Ramilson and musical partner Janaina Lima have released 3 albums and numerous singles, including 2015’s Kaleidoscópio 10 years – celebrating a decade of Brazilian Drum & Bass music.

The brunch runs from 1-4pm and includes all house beverages and BBQ buffet for 250AED! Your brunch ticket also gives entrance to the afterparty from 4pm on into the evening. Entrance to the afterparty alone costs 50AED. Story will be running afterparty drinks promotions with 20% off from 4-7pm.

We will be complimenting Story’s FUNKTION ONE sound system with our very own 4400W HK AUDIO setup. This will ensure crisp highs, clear mids and pounding sub bass!
