ADNOC Distribution has opened two-rebranded service stations in Sharjah, the Al Taawan service station located on Al Taawan Street in Al Nahda, and the Al Hamriya service station, located near Hamriya Free Zone.
The two refurbished facilities are the latest additions to the 25 service stations that joined the ADNOC Distribution network following the transfer of assets agreement signed with ENOC in 2015.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said, “The opening of Al Taawan and Al Hamriya service stations articulates our ambitious expansion plans to meet the dynamic needs of communities we serve through enhancing our operational capacities. In addition to bringing our world-class products and services closer to our customers, the expansion will also help us support the country’s sustainable development goals and meet its growing energy requirements.”
Al Rashdi added, “We will continue to look for opportunities to efficiently grow the ADNOC Distribution network of service stations across the country. This will allow us to consolidate our presence in the distribution of our quality petroleum products and allied services and reinforce our expertise in implementing best-in-class practices.”
As part of the Asset Transfer Agreement signed between ADNOC Distribution and ENOC, three more service stations are currently being refurbished under ADNOC Distribution brand in Sharjah including Al Diyar Service Station, Al Rawda Service Station and Wasit Service Station. All stations that come under the agreement are also set to commence operations before the end of 2016.
